Twisted Tower Walkthrough: Area Order and Hub Loop
Twisted Tower walkthrough for the Steam game: lobby loop, five-area order, tickets vs Toys, and what launch-week videos can actually confirm.
This is the walkthrough hub for Twisted Tower (Steam, 2026) — the climb order, the lobby loop, and the systems that decide whether you can finish a first run. It does not invent room maps, collectible coordinates, or a named boss sequence. Those appear here only when a source can be dated.
What does a first walkthrough actually look like?
The release version is a short single-player climb, not an open world. You leave the lobby, clear one themed area, return with tickets, spend upgrades, and take the elevator up. Early reviews put the main story around 4–6 hours. You will not see every room on one path; NG+ exists for a second climb.
If you are brand new, read the beginner guide first so the ticket economy and sealed doors make sense before you watch footage.
What is the verified area order?
Release reviews of the final game — not demo footage — confirm five areas in this order:
- Hotel — decaying grand hotel; teaches the ticket loop
- Mermaid Palace — waterpark wing (older videos say “waterpark”)
- Clown Casino — casino floor run by clown mascots
- Fairground Forest — overgrown carnival grounds (older videos say “carnival forest”)
- Lightspeed Land — space-station finale at the top
Details, including why 2025 names differ: all five areas.
How should I spend tickets and Tokens on the climb?
Two currencies, two jobs:
- Tickets buy weapon upgrades at the Real Boy Station (damage, magazine size, reload speed, alternate fire). Launch reviews call the economy tight — upgrade the gun you actually shoot.
- Twisted Tokens unlock Toys: Harpoon, Fairy Wings, Clown Shoes, Jetpack. Those open gated rooms on return visits.
Confirmed weapon names and the unnamed tenth gun: weapons. Movement abilities: Toys & Tokens.
What can a walkthrough not confirm yet?
As of the August 19, 2026 source check, there is no honest public list for:
- Room-by-room routes or collectible coordinates
- A complete named boss order
- Exact Token room locations
- A verified endings count
