Short answers for the Steam game, then a link into the page that holds the dated evidence. If a fact is still unverified, this hub says so instead of padding the page.
Source check: Steam store page, 3D Realms game page, and launch reviews dated August 19, 2026
What is Twisted Tower?
Twisted Tower is a single-player first-person action-adventure on Steam. Atmos Games (Thomas Brush) developed it; 3D Realms published it. The game released on August 18, 2026 for Windows, at $14.99 at launch, as a full release rather than early access.
You enter an abandoned 1950s theme park and climb its tower to win back the love of your life, uncovering the dark secrets of your past on the way. Combat uses toy-styled guns; the park's corrupted fairy-tale mascots are the signature enemies. The Steam app ID is 1575990. The official 3D Realms game page is the second canonical source after the store page.
This wiki exists to answer player questions after launch: how the climb works, which weapons and Toys are confirmed, which areas you visit, what achievements exist, and what is still unknown.
First-climb route
The tower is not one unbroken climb. The lobby is the hub: you clear a themed area, collect tickets, return to the lobby, spend upgrades, and take the elevator to the next zone. If you feel sent back, that is the structure, not a failed run.
Spend early tickets on your main weapon at the Real Boy Station instead of spreading upgrades across every gun. Launch reviews consistently call the ticket economy tight. Sealed rooms are usually waiting for a Toy you do not have yet — note the door and keep climbing.
Route choices lock in for that playthrough. You will not see every room on one climb; New Game Plus exists for a second pass. Adjustable difficulty and camera-comfort options are listed on the Steam page if early lighting or encounter spikes get in the way.
Weapons and upgrades
Release reviews confirm 10 toy-styled weapons. Names verified from the Steam page or launch reviews: Whack-a-Mole Mallet, Rubber-Band Pistol, Marble Magnum, Dart Tommy Gun, Shartgun, Bubblegum Chain-Gun, Sniper Slingshot, Skull-Poppin' Ray Gun, and Rocket Launcher. A tenth weapon exists in the count but is not yet named by a source we can check.
Tickets buy four upgrade tracks at the Real Boy Station: damage, magazine size, reload speed, and alternate fire. Alt-fire changes how a gun behaves, so an early weapon can stay useful if you invest in it. Exact damage numbers, unlock order, and per-weapon costs are not published anywhere reliable yet — this wiki will not invent a stats table to look complete.
Toys and movement
Toys are the movement half of your loadout, unlocked with Twisted Tokens rather than tickets. The confirmed set is Harpoon (grapple to marked anchors), Fairy Wings (glide / air-dash), Clown Shoes (high jump), and Jetpack (double jump and limited air mobility).
Tickets feed weapons; Tokens feed movement. Rooms that refuse every approach usually need a Toy, not a different gun. Areas are built for return visits: yesterday's sealed door is the intended secret path once you own the right ability. Exact Token counts and room locations are still unverified.
The five areas
The release-version park has five themed areas, linked by the lobby and elevator rather than one seamless map: Hotel, Mermaid Palace, Clown Casino, Fairground Forest, and Lightspeed Land. The Hotel teaches the ticket loop; Lightspeed Land is the space-station finale at the top.
Older demo footage used working names — waterpark for Mermaid Palace, carnival forest for Fairground Forest. If a 2025 video uses those labels, it is the same place with a pre-release name. Per-area secret counts and room maps are not verifiable yet, so this hub will not pretend a complete location list exists.
Bosses and enemies
The campaign includes multiple boss encounters and a final confrontation at the top of the tower. Launch reviews talk about encounter design — including a late-game spider chase and endgame difficulty spikes — more than they publish names or a full count.
No official boss list exists as of the August 19, 2026 source check. This wiki tracks verified encounters and refuses auto-generated lists from other new domains. If a fight walls you, the reliable lever is ticket damage upgrades plus the adjustable difficulty option; named strategies wait for footage we can date.
18 Steam achievements
Twisted Tower launched with 18 Steam achievements, verified through the Steam Web API on August 19, 2026. Visible names so far include Tickets, Tickets, Tickets!; Bouncy Boot Bonanza; Dashingly Handsome; Jet Pack Joe; Harpoon Hero; First Floor Frolic; and Secret Spectacle.
Those names point at the ticket economy, Toy unlocks, early Hotel progress, and at least one secret. The live unlock-rate table stays on Steam until the community data is stable enough to mirror with notes. Multiple routes per run mean a completionist climb likely needs more than one playthrough or NG+.
Story, characters, and endings
Vincent is the playable protagonist of the release version. Charlotte is the person he is climbing for. The enemy cast is the park's corrupted fairy-tale mascots. Pre-release FAQ and demo coverage used older character names; those are development history, not launch canon.
Multiple unique paths per playthrough and NG+ are confirmed. A complete endings list is not. Multiple routes do not automatically mean multiple endings, and this wiki will not publish a true-ending guide until each ending has reproducible evidence. Voice acting is praised in reviews; per-character credits are still unpublished.
Platforms, multiplayer, and Steam Deck
Confirmed: Windows on Steam, Steam Deck Verified, full controller support including DualShock, English only, single-player. Not confirmed as of August 19, 2026: PS5, Xbox, Switch, mobile, macOS, and Linux native builds.
Release-day reviewers report roughly 4–6 hours for the main story, with 4–8 hours as an extended estimate. HowLongToBeat community averages were still forming at the source check. The pre-release demo (Steam app 2506090) is delisted. These questions have dedicated pages; the homepage FAQ repeats the short answers.
How this wiki is sourced
Every summary on this hub is dated to the August 19, 2026 check of the live Steam store page, the 3D Realms game page, Steam achievements data, and launch-window reviews. Store fields such as price, Deck badge, and language table can move; we re-verify before a site update rather than rewrite from memory.
The competitive field already has several exact-match domains repeating Steam copy. This site's difference is the refusal to invent weapon stats, boss names, secret coordinates, or ending counts. When a later patch or playthrough confirms those details, the matching article gets a new date — the hub stays a map, not a second copy of Steam's description.
